Teen Programming and Y Chromosomes

October 27, 2012

I could be naive.

It’s totally possible. I mean, I have two X chromosomes, so I can’t really venture incredibly well educated guesses on how people with Y chromosomes operate their brains.  But it seems to me that the majority of crafty teen programming would be more geared toward female teens than male teens.

I know, I know. Gender stereotypes and all that.

Maybe some of the more off-the-wall art projects would appeal to all teens – like melting crayons, bleach pen/stencil shirts, and possibly even journal-making.  I really think teaching a room full of teens how to do coptic binding would be pretty sweet.

Seriously – don’t they look awesome?

My brain is full of teen programming ideas and AACR2 description rules.
